How does check-in work?

Most host will ask your flight arrival timing and will be at home waiting for your arrival. It is important that you communicate your arrival schedule prior to meeting up. This is to avoid putting your host in an unfavourable situation where he/she has to wait up for you. It is also recommended that you send your host a text message when you arrive at the airport, such that you can provide your host a more accurate timing for arrival.

After you collect your keys, the host will give you a brief orientation of the home, house rules and things to explore in the neighbourhood. Should the host require a deposit, this is the time where you handover the deposit to your host. The host will refund the deposit to you when you return the home in the same condition, having abided by the house rule and incurring no damages.
